Dismantling/Decommissioning Services

You have a goal of making a facility that you are moving out of safe, weather proof, secure, empty, restored, presentable, and saleable. 

Industrial Transfer & Storage, Inc. can perform any or all of the following services on a “turn-key” basis to decommission your facilities:

1. Disconnect, remove, and scrap (or dismantle, prepare for shipment, transport, and unload at another location) any surplus machinery and equipment.
2. Disconnect, remove, and/or “make safe” any utility connections to machinery and equipment that were used in the facility.
3. Arrange for any environmental remediation work that must be done.
4. Internally demolish any temporary walls, partitions, curbs, etc.
5. Fill in any pits that may exist after the machinery and equipment has been removed. 
6. Clean up the facility to get it ready for sale.

We look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and discuss how using our services as a General Contractor for your Plant Decommissioning can provide the best combination of quality, service, and price.  We will develop project scope, strategies, methods, and use relationships that we have developed with many different vendors in different trades to provide a preliminary budget in a very short period of time.  Once that has been accomplished, we will continue to examine all aspects of the decommissioning  to identify areas where we can reduce the costs.  Our goal will be to ultimately develop a cost for the project that will probably be lower than the original budget, and almost certainly less than if you “shop around” for the best price and attempt to control the project with your own internal resources.
